When collecting DNA off of any surface, the M-Vac system items needed consists of the durable machine (SEC) and the primary consumables (M-Vac sampling/collection head, Extension tubing, SRS or Surface Rinse Solution, and the .45 micron concentration filter.  Additional items such as the pre-filter and shield may be used if the collection is exceptionally dirty, or the .22 micron concentration filter could be used in lieu of the .45 filter.  Most of these items can be ordered individually and in cases.
