Of all the M-Vac system consumables, the primary and most important is the M-Vac Sample Collection Head.  It is where the "magic" happens because the sampling head comes in direct contact with the evidence surface, the sterile solution is applied combined with vacuum pressure to create a "mini-hurricane" type turbulence that enables the DNA material (skin cells, saliva, semen etc) to dislodge from the surface and be collected along with the solution.  Each unit is a one-time use item.  It comes individually or in a case of 10.  Ethylene Oxide sterilized.
